Rivermont Partners is Sycamore Advisory's Pennsylvania-based operating entity, focused on marketing strategy, consultancy, and the strategic sourcing and acquisition of specialty trade contractors. Rivermont also leads the firm's evaluation and deployment of AI-driven investment and operational platforms.

Susquehannock Partners LLC

Susquehannock Partners is Sycamore Advisory's Florida-based entity, specializing in international trade strategy, cross-border logistics, and the distribution of imported goods. The entity manages a portfolio of passive investments across select asset classes and executes high-end investment mandates. Susquehannock also drives institutional and private business development across the South Florida market.

JD
Jason A. Detzi
Co-Founder & Co-CEO

Jason is a senior capital markets advisor and institutional investor with over two decades of experience across institutional investing, credit analysis, and strategic advisory. He brings deep expertise in navigating complex capital structures, evaluating risk, and identifying value across both public and private markets, across multiple asset classes.

He spent the majority of his investment career as a Senior Partner at Penn Capital Management, a boutique institutional firm focused on leveraged finance. There, he led investments across the energy, industrial, and materials sectors and served in multiple portfolio management roles, including Assistant Portfolio Manager for small-cap strategies and Co-Portfolio Manager for distressed and capital structure opportunity funds. He was also an active member of the firm's credit and equity strategy committees.

His investment approach is grounded in rigorous fundamental research, with a particular focus on downside protection, recovery analysis, covenant evaluation, and event-driven opportunities. Jason has extensive experience in restructuring situations, liability management, and capital structure arbitrage, supported by advanced financial modeling and a disciplined risk management framework.

In addition to his investing background, Jason has significant experience advising institutional and private clients. He has worked closely with sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, endowments, family offices, and RIAs, translating complex investment strategies into clear, actionable insights.

Jason currently serves as AVP at CFC, where he leads and arranges commercial loan syndications for electrical cooperative members. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of nearly $40 billion in outstanding loans and manages key relationships with syndicate banks, cooperative borrowers, fixed-income investors, rating agencies, and legal advisors.

Earlier in his career, he served as President and Director of Research at LHT Consultants, a multi-family office platform, where he advised ultra-high-net-worth families on portfolio construction, manager selection, and governance. He also led asset management strategy initiatives at VShift, a global marketing agency, where he helped design AI-driven marketing and distribution systems for investment firms.

Jason began his career as a market maker at Interactive Brokers and later served as a managing member of a multi-strategy hedge fund.

He holds a B.A. in International Relations from The Pennsylvania State University.

Riham El-Lakany
Co-Founder & Co-CEO

Riham is a global marketing and communications executive with more than 20 years of experience helping complex organizations grow, transform, and strengthen trust with the people they serve. She specializes in brand strategy, customer experience, and digital transformation across highly regulated, reputation‑sensitive sectors including healthcare, financial services, and insurance.

Riham currently serves as Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales Enablement at Conner Strong & Buckelew, where she leads brand, marketing, and sales enablement strategy for one of the nation's leading insurance brokerage and employee benefits firms. In this role, she partners with executive leadership to drive growth, deepen client engagement, and differentiate the firm through integrated brand, digital, and content platforms.

In addition to her corporate role, Riham advises founders, CMOs, and private equity firms on go‑to‑market strategy, brand positioning, and marketing due diligence, serving as a trusted partner on growth, customer acquisition, and organizational design. She works with leadership teams to align brand, commercial strategy, and customer experience, building marketing functions that operate as true revenue engines rather than support centers.

Over her career, Riham has served as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for major health systems, a government‑sponsored enterprise, and global financial institutions. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at BJC HealthCare, where she unified brand, digital, communications, and patient experience, modernized the martech and data stack, and led campaigns that drove growth in revenue, brand equity, and employee engagement. Previously, she was Vice President and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Freddie Mac's Single‑Family Division, where she built the division's first integrated marketing and communications function and led brand and go‑to‑market strategy that supported market share gains and deeper engagement across the housing ecosystem.

Earlier in her career, Riham held senior marketing leadership roles at Marsh, Prudential Financial, Zurich, ACE, and AIG, leading global brand strategy, sales enablement, and digital engagement initiatives that advanced revenue, customer trust, and market positioning. She is known for combining strategic clarity with operational depth — translating board‑level priorities into practical systems, metrics, and experiences that move the needle on growth and reputation. Riham is a frequent advisor and thought partner to CEOs, boards, and cross‑functional leaders on how to build modern, data‑driven marketing organizations that can thrive through transformation and disruption.

Riham holds a master's degree in economics from New York University and a bachelor's degree in economics from the American University in Cairo.
